substitue teaching

When teachers or other staff can't be here for a school day, having a caring & competent substitute to fill in for them is so important for the students to feel safe, comfortable and able to learn.

Here's some information about that it looks like to sub in our school building:

Arrival:

-When you arrive at Chester- Andover, please enter through the main doors and check in with someone in the office to let them know you are here. You will receive a visitor badge the first few times you sub until people in the building recognize you as a substitute teacher! Someone will show you to your classroom and introduce you to the other adults in the building that room.

Expectations:

Follow the lesson plans as closely as possible. While the day will not be exactly like it would be if the teacher was present, we want to keep as normal of a day as possible. If you have concerns about behaviors.
