While our office staff are happy to answer any questions you have, we hope this helps save you some time by answering some of the questions you might have throughout the year.
Dismissal starts at 2:50. Students meeting their parents at the corner or are walking home are dismissed first, followed by those being picked up by car and then bus riders. If you have last-minute changes to your child's dismissal plan for the day, please call the office before 2:30pm. It is very difficult to effectively communicate changes in a time after that.
Early dismissal is at noon on half days.
Bus routes are linked on the home page under Quick Links. The document is updated frequently so please make sure you check back often. If you have questions about a bus route, please contact Sue Willis, sue.willis@trsu.org.
Lunch menus can be found at https://trsu.nutrislice.com/menu/chester-andover/lunch. Students can choose from the hot lunch of the day, daily sandwich options or bring lunch from home. Lunch count is taken at the beginning of each day so students can decide that morning which lunch option they would like. Students are encouraged to bring a snack from home each day, we also have the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Progam (FFVP) at our school so students have the option to chose a fruit or veggie from the snack fridges during snack time.
If you child is sick, will be absent or late, a parent/guardian must call the school to report the absence. If your child has symptoms of being sick, please refer to this guide to determine if they are able to come to school or should stay home. If your child has to miss school for an appointment, please bring in a doctors note in order for the absence to be excused.
