I am a special education teacher on a mission to help all kids love school! I run a resource room at Chester-Andover, incorporating hands-on learning and problem-solving skills with mindfulness and interpersonal skills.
I’ve worked with a wide variety of students. I received a degree in English and Education from Colby-Sawyer College, in New Hampshire. I served in AmeriCorps for a year, teaching migrant children in a school in Oregon before getting a Masters of Science from Portland State University in Special Education. Since then, I’ve worked with kids at the elementary, middle and high school levels, specializing in kids with challenging behaviors.
In my free time, I like to cook, read, travel, and go for walks with my dog and my husband.
