Students at Chester-Andover had a wonderful day celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday. On February 28, 2014, the pajamas and hats came out for a fun event celebrating reading and Dr. Seuss. We kicked off the celebration by wearing our PJs and eating green eggs and ham for breakfast. Then each classroom met with their buddy classroom to read some Dr. Seuss stories, make Dr. Seuss hats, and make some cool bookmarks for reading. At the end of the day we all sat down for an all school assembly where we watched the classic version of The Cat and the Hat
and enjoyed some Dr. Seuss Birthday cake. Check out of picture slideshow below to see all the fun and excitement about reading!
